Welcome to the Back Mountain Bobcats Redesigned Site!
The Back Mountain Bobcats were formed in 2006 to assist in decreasing the team sizes in the area. Some teams had 30+ players on them, and too many kids were riding the bench. The Bobcats were formed to assist in creating smaller teams, which in turn created more opportunities for player development. The Bobcats still believe in this theory. Our organization is the only one left in the Back Mountain that strictly enforces minimum play rules. Every player is guaranteed to play in every single game. This creates an atmosphere where others learn to appreciate the skills of their teammates, and in turn, the entire team learns to function more cohesively. We believe this to be a recipe for success, as evidenced by our many playoff and Super Bowl appearances, winning trophies, and number of players who go on to experience varsity success.
Everyone is welcome with the Bobcats, and made to feel a member of the team. If your child is between the ages of 5 and 15 years old, and you reside in the Dallas, Lake Lehman, or Tunkhannock school districts, come join the Bobcat family! Because that is what we are, family. On the field or off, you will find the Bobcats are a wonderful organization who truly care about your child. We offer many events both in and out of football season, like our pep rally, bonfire, car show, competitions, night at the races, and no team can come together quite like the Bobcats can!
